Tommy Ruscica

Tommy Ruscica is a hairstylist specializing in men’s grooming.  He has been working on photo shoots for more than 34 years.

Born and raised in New York City, Tommy had a passion for illustration, art direction, and photography from a very young age. He attended the High School of Art & Design, graduating with other accomplished artists, including photographer Steven Meisel.  Shortly after receiving his cosmetologist’s license, Tommy’s talent was noticed by renowned hairstylist Garren.  Tommy’s career was launched from there and he was soon recognized as an expert in men's haircutting & styling. 

Tommy’s work as a hairstylist has taken him around the world, affording him the opportunity to work with a long list of prominent photographers while on photo shoots for top designers and high-end stores.  Photographers he has worked with include Steven Klein, Peter Lindbergh David LaChapelle, Matthew Rolston, Francesco Scavullo, and others.  His clientele includes advertisers such as Ermenegilda Zegna, Givenchy, Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue
